With more than 10 years of culinary experience, the chef behind Andaaz Kitchen brings together techniques and influences gathered from different kitchens around the world.
The journey began with Italian cuisine, followed by experience in fine dining where attention to presentation, flavour balance, and detail became an important part of the craft. Time spent working with the Chinese wok added another side to that experience, bringing bold flavours, high heat, and the fast pace of wok cooking into the mix.
International experience in Australia added even more perspective, including hotel breakfast service and the day-to-day discipline of professional kitchen operations.
